History
Since its incorporation in 2007, ArtSS has:
- Mounted two sculpture events at the Sandy Springs branch of the Fulton County Library with ten sculptures during each competition,
- Purchased four major sculptures for donation to the City of Sandy Springs for permanent public display,
- Hosted ArtSSpring, a month-long celebration of the arts, each spring for 4 years,
- Placed and maintained 32 large public planters along Roswell Road, a major thoroughfare,
- Discovered available land adjacent to the Fulton County Library and created a Reading Garden centered on a children's Peace Pole, and
- Initiated a scholarship program for instrumental music in the elementary schools.
