2008 Sculpture Winner

The winner of the first ArtSS in the Open Sculpture ContestTumble, is a work by Sandy Springs native and Riverwood High School graduate, David Landis.  The six foot sculpture, cast in bronze, collected the most votes from the people of Sandy Springs.

Mr. Landis received a $15,000 prize, and Tumble was donated to the City of Sandy Springs for permanent display.  The sculpture is presently on display just outside the main entrance to the Sandy Springs Branch of the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System, 395 Mount Vernon Highway. 

The award was made possible by a grant from The Sandy Springs Society.
